What is a "premium domain"? Print

  • 2

Some top-level domain ("tld") registries have deliberately set the price of certain domain names above their standard registration price.  Typically prices for these "premium" domains run from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars.  We do not endorse this pricing strategy and call on all tld registries to make all their domains available at their standard registration price.  If a registration you are attempting falls into this category, we will contact you - in most instances registrants opt for an alternate domain name.
